Day 1

day 1: discover your body - face reading

Face Reading is not a psychic reading or fortune telling tool... quite the opposite.

As a trained Psychosomatic Therapist (Psych = Mind, Soma = Body), Melanie can read your body and share with you insights about how your body is a reflection of how your left (intellect) & right (feeling) sides of the brain are working together... or not.  

Why is this information important? For you to make better decisions that serve you, without stress, anxiety and all the other negative symptoms of dealing with life in our fast paced modern world, you first need to acknowledge and understand the workings of your body ~ especially your brain.


Many disregard the body & brain, and see them simply as a machine that gets you from A to B. However, it actually holds a huge amount of information about your:

  • Mindset & Belief Systems

  • Zone of Genius

  • Emotional Intelligence

  • What is holding you back from living your true purpose.


Particularly now, as we enter into a new era of 'Artificial Intelligence' ~ the world we have been living in, that has nurtured our left brain (intellect) for so long and allowed us to easily switch off the right brain (feelings) and still get by, is about to change.

You will find that if you don't start utilising both sides of your brain and understanding them, life moving into the future will become more difficult, frustrating and tedious.


Your body is constantly giving you feed back.

discover your body - tHE FACE SPLIT

During Day 1 of the retreat, we will literally take a snap shot of what your current balance is between the workings of your left and right sides of the brain. This is also how Melanie will introduce the concepts of 'Masculine' (left brain) and 'Feminine' (right brain) energy to you. 

At the end of the workshop you will have a strong understanding of what these energies mean and how to start implementing activities into your life to balance them out.


Leave the workshop with your professional 'Face Split' photos printed on photography paper yours to keep & refer back to.


The above is an example of a 'Face Split' analysis which you will receive and be analysing during Day 1 of the retreat. It will help you to understand what mindfulness tools from Day 2 with Lisa, will be beneficial for you.  Plus this is an excellent keep-sake to refer back to, to help remind you about what you have learned on the retreat to keep your left & right brain function in balance.

day 2: mindfulness practices


Mindfulness seems to be the new buzz word...


However, have you actually stopped to ask what it really means? Many people refer to mindfulness when they actually mean meditation. Meditation is a scientifically proven path to building mindfulness into your everyday life.

Why is meditation important? Imagine a space between your left (intellect) and right (feeling) brains. It is here where meditation will take you with practice, and you will start reaping the benefits such as:


  • Raised level of emotional state

  • Physical wellbeing as stress and anxiety levels drop

  • Heightened confidence to stretch out of your comfort zone, and

  • Developing a more positive general outlook on life.


This workshop is perfect for all levels of meditation understanding and practice. No matter if it's your first time or you are a regular meditator, you will walk away with new awareness and tools to put into your Mindfulness Toolkit.

You'll know that it's time to learn how to either start or deepen your meditation practice if:

  • You feel pulled in all directions, stressed and over-worked;

  • The continuous 'sense of urgency' seems to be your best friend lately;

  • You want to meditate, but you're always too tired;

  • You're craving more from life, but you're not sure what it is; or

  • You are feeling success, however there is a part of you that feels empty.

During the day we'll explore different meditation practices and other easy powerful tools to help you strengthen your 'mindfulness muscle'. You will be taken through a number of proven practices to find the right methodology to suit you.
