The Camino de Santiago Pilgrim Walk
The Region & Its Treasures

"An active holiday escape for those wanting to experience a deeply personal and transformative journey, whilst immersing themselves in the local culture and enjoying a touch of luxury "

Are you ready for a once-in-a-lifetime journey that will not only transform your soul but also immerse you in the heart and soul of Spain?

Welcome to the Camino de Santiago Pilgrim Walk (Portuguese Way) – an active holiday escape like no other.

Experience the Magic of the Camino

For centuries, pilgrims have embarked on this epic adventure, traversing Northern Spain to honor St. James in Santiago de Compostela. Today, the Camino de Santiago has evolved into Europe's ultimate pilgrimage route, and we've curated an extraordinary retreat experience that blends tradition with luxury.

Explore Spain's Hidden Treasures

Picture yourself walking through picturesque villages, across endless green meadows, and over rolling hillsides. Not to mention the vineyards! The Camino trail is marked by the iconic scallop shell and yellow arrows, guiding you every step of the way.

But our pilgrimage offers so much more than a scenic journey.

A Journey of the Heart and Soul

The Camino is not just a physical trek; it's a spiritual odyssey. Over Eleven profound days, you'll immerse yourself in mindfulness and wellness-inspired retreat activities. Alongside fellow pilgrims from all walks of life, you'll share stories, forge connections, and make memories that will last a lifetime.

Tailored for Every Adventurer

No matter your fitness level, our retreat caters to all. We've carefully chosen the last leg of the Camino Portuguese Way, for a manageable 120km experience. But this is no ordinary walk – it's a fusion of luxury accommodations, three delectable daily meals featuring the finest local artisan foods, and of course, .... an evening vino with dinner.

Your Only Task: Take One Step at a Time

Let us handle the details; your focus should be on the incredible journey ahead. So, what are you waiting for?

Embrace the Camino de Santiago Pilgrim Walk, and let the transformation begin.

Bien Camino!

AN ADVENTURE LIKE NO OTHER

"Lisa prepared a fun and engaging experience for our group. The schedule was well planned, allowing for flexibility and personal preferences. Hotels were selected with careful consideration and little surprises were embedded throughout the week. Dani, our interpreter, used her linguistic skills to ensure that all of our needs were met and her humor to entertain us. Guided meditation opportunities enhanced relaxation and spiritual growth. Most importantly, our group created friendships and experiences that I will cherish forever."

Your Accommodation

We'll be staying in a mix of Luxury Paradors, selected apartments and boutique accommodation throughout our journey.

No nasty dormitory bed bugs for us.

Due to the boutique size of some of the places we'll be staying in, there will be a mix of mostly single accommodation except twin-share in just 2 of our nights on the road, ensuring that everyone has some private time on the journey to unwind and process the day in your own space.

Note: If you're coming with your partner and want a double room - just let me know and we can facilitate that too.

Lisa provided an excellent trip that was extremely well organized. The communication was excellent. It would have been a perfect trip if she could control the weather :-)
  • Can you accommodate Dietary Restrictions?
It's a tricky one as I won't be cooking and Spain isn't always the friendliest for this. That being said, we did well this year with vegetarian requests. Best to email me and we can discuss it.
  • What's the weather like?
Ha! How long is a piece of string right?! Galicia, Spain has an 'average' day time temperature of 16 degrees (celsius) and 9 degrees in the evenings. Perfect for walking. Having said that, we had a 'hot' spell in Porto this year where we reached mid 20's in March and then it dropped again. I can't predict the rain - this year was unusually wet but normally it's average rainfall. As we all know, weather patterns are changing rapidly globally but in Austria they have a saying: "There is no bad weather... only bad clothing".
  • How do I book in?
Just email at lisamariestaab@gmail.com, contact me via WhatsApp +61450377735 or via any of my social media accounts and we can go from there. x
  • Is it just for women?
Nope, although it does often end up that way! Having said that, if you're after women only, flick us a message and we can potentially make it so.
  • What city should I fly into?
Porto in Portugal. This is our starting point. It's also possible to take a bus from Lisbon which is approximately a 3 hour journey.
  • I have so many questions... how can I get them all answered?
Feel free to email me at anytime lisamariestaab@gmail.com. We'll also have a few zoom meet-ups to make sure everyone's questions are answered.
  • Do I have to participate in everything?
Of course not! You are always in control of your own choices and master of your own journey. Yes, we're in a group however it's a very personal journey and you're in control of you. We all have our own paces and will find our own groove - times will be spent walking together and other times you'll find your own pace and silence. The only thing I ask is that we all keep in contact along the journey via WhatsApp for safety reasons as well as coffee/lunch meeting spots etc.
  • What do I need to pack?
We'll have some online zooms as well as an info pack sent out prior to the trip so you'll be well prepared.
